I LOVE IT!!!! and more importantly MY HORSE LOVES IT! When putting on my regular very well made and expensive western saddle my horse is cinchy, very antsy and will walk like he has 500 lb weights on each of his legs. I received my saddle today. I love it however I have two suggestions for the manufacturer.
One, make the stirrup leathers just a nylon strap to reduce the amount of bulk at the knee.
Two, Make it so the metal rings that attach the stirrup leathers and the girth different lengths where they attach. Right now they over lap and add bulk at the knee.
I am going to remove the leather on the stirrup straps so it lays flat under my leg.

I Bought this saddle and my horse and I are very happy with it. I know have the close contact of a English saddle with the security of a Western saddle. I have bad knees and ankles and can ride for quite some time with no discomfort. Worth every penny I spent or it. Everyone in the barn wants one!!! |

i bought this saddle in the middle of march and find it is a fabulous saddle.i no longer have the issues i had with saddling,my horse stands still with out even being held or tied now.i fell very safe and secure when riding.i am a first level parelli student and can find my balance point with no problems. |

Received my saddle promptly as promised. It is very well made and nice looking. The seat is very comfortable. A bit more "cushey" than I expected. The stirrups are a bit tight and I do have issue with the stirrup leather pinching a bit. Hoping it will be better as it breaks in. All in all I have great feel on my horse and he seems very comfortable. It promotes a nice flat ride and I do not feel as if I am being thrown forward as in most barrel saddles. I wouldn't exactly call this an english saddle, because it's more of an endurance type. It's a nice saddle for when you're taking a break from the show season and all the jumping. My horse loves it for the trails. It's very comfortable, and I love it, but only for the trails. I wouldn't recommend it for a serious english rider. |

I have an old world arabian baroque horse, with a wide rib cage, croup high, and a very prominent wither. The saddle fit perfectly, without any saddle fitting issues. I recieved the saddle on Friday the 6th and have already been using it. And I love it--I'm pretty sure my horse does too because he was acting like a whole new horse, he was simply soooo relaxed on our 7 hour trail ride the other day. IT WAS AMAZING!!!

After a few rides the saddle settles in and is very comfortable! We have ridden in treeless saddles for the past 6 years and would never go back to a treed saddle. I have bought 2 of these saddles and I absolutely love them!! I usually ride a large (1400 lb) quarter horse and I had been unable to find a saddle that fit him and me but these treeless saddles are the ticket! I also use these saddles when riding a much smaller quarter horse and they do very well on him too. Love these saddles - don't want to go back to a saddle with a tree. |

Beautiful Saddle - fit my mutton withered TWH like a glove. It was very secure. I am 5 feet and approximate weight is 107 lbs give or take a few lbs either way. Hilason treeless barrell racing /trail saddles are an excellent compromise to get the security you need from a western saddle and the comfort of a bareback pad to your horse. I use this saddle for endurance riding on my impossible to fit Quarter Horse with a sensitive back. I have NEVER had any issues with soreness after a ride, for either my horse or myself. I love this saddle! It is great quality, has tons of miles on it in a short time and shows no signs that it is wearing out.
