I wanted a flex-tree dressage saddle for my green horse. This one looked great and fit my budget. However, it doesn't fit any kind of horse as they advertise. Even with the flex tree feature it's too narrow on her and she's not a wide backed horse. I have since learned that even with a flex tree you want it to fit your horse correctly without flexing, so that when it does flex it flexes with the movement and not flexing to "fit the horse." Really well built saddle.
Exceptional Detail has been given to this saddle.
Every Stud is exactly the same distance apart.
Sewing is nicely done not one loose string or thread found anywhere on this saddle.
Tooling is well done also.
Fits both horse and rider well.
The only thing needing attention is the seat , fenders and jockeys had been glazed for protection.
This being a barrel saddle the glazing makes the saddle to slick.
Worked with Hilason and sanded the glazing off the sea |

Recieved my saddle HSTT234 last night. LOVE IT! Can't wait to put it on my hard to fit XL & high withered Thoroughbred! I've tried, bought, sold, and borrowed so many saddles trying to find the right fit for him. He doesn't look like an "odd" fit, but when you try to saddle him, he is an odd fit. This is a beautiful saddle and it's the first that fit my horse perfectly. It's very comfortable and seems to have an extra padded seat. Only problem is the holes on stirrups and girth strap don't seem to line up properly. Nothing that a hole punch can't fix though. My friend buys $2300 saddles and he commented that he wish his saddles fit his horses that well! |

Hilason treeless dressage saddle - OMG!

My horse is very hard to fit. I stumbled upon this site and decided to take a chance. It was the best thing I have done for both my horse and myself. this saddle makes a complete different ride. My horse seems to have more energy and the want to go for longer rides. He moves more freely and doesn't get pinched like my old saddle did to him. I am glad these saddles are affordable. I bought this saddle a week ago and it fits all of my horses without any pressure points! Looks very nice also. I love how it keeps my feet in front of me. Everybody I barrel race with loves it too! My professional barrel horse trainer Greg Vaughn also rides in it. It's the first saddle he grabs now! |

I ordered this saddle thinking that what they advertised about this one fitting up to an 8 inch gullet would work on my TW. As Renee stated above I had the same exact issue. Also, they sent my a child size saddle and not the one I ordered. AND to further the problem, I returned the saddle, emailed them several times, left messages and still have not heard from them!!! What in world is going on with this company...? |

i love this saddle very much my only problem is when you try to change the sturrip length the metal behind it somehow cuts up your hands its very sharp! other than that this saddle is amazing!:) |
